After the installation of the USB drivers and monkey and workbench, I plugged the guitar with the power supply and the workbench, the workbench is plugged on the computer and the both lights are green:

then I ran monkey and made all the available updates:

As you can see, monkey tells me that workbench is a 1.01 version, but I have downloaded and installed the 1.10 (the 1.01 has been removed from my computer). I have checked the version by right clicking on the .exe file:

So, when I launch the workbench I have that:

So, it is sayed every where that the variax 500 firmware has to be update at the first time to get it work with the workbench. Cool! Lets do that...

But where??? In monkey of course! Ok! Let’s go:

Damned, where is my variax? Let’s click on “change device”

uhm... let’s see in “I don’t see my device”:

Only Variax USB Inteface?

Where and how do I can Update my firmware so this workbench works?

After posting on forums I tried all of that:

Same things on an other computer: Exactly the same results! (also the 1.1 workbench version not detected by monkey)

Tryed to unplugg the power of the variax, launch monkey and plugg it.

Tryed to unplugg the workbench on the variax side, launch monkey and plugg it.

Tryed differents USB connections on the both computers.

Always the sames results!!! I’m started to be mad, what I have done wrong? Is my variax broken? Is the workbench broken?

Please help me.
